Fair Housing Statement

Effective 2026-04-12

Our commitment

RV Annual supports the letter and spirit of the federal Fair Housing Act and the equivalent housing-discrimination laws of every state in which we list communities. We do not advertise any preference, limitation, or discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability, and we do not knowingly accept advertising that violates these laws.

How we describe communities

Our listings describe physical features, amenities, pricing, lease terms, and locations. Audience guides describe lifestyles, occupations, or use cases (travel nursing, remote work, snowbirding, roadschooling) that are not protected classes. We avoid language that signals a preference for or against any protected group.

55+ designations

Some communities are designated 55+ or age-restricted. These designations are self-reported by the community operator and are lawful under the Housing for Older Persons Act (HOPA), 42 U.S.C. ยง 3607, when the community meets the statutory requirements (at least 80% of occupied units housing at least one person aged 55 or older; demonstrated intent to house older persons; and HUD-prescribed age verification).

RV Annual does not independently verify HOPA compliance. Renters and operators are encouraged to confirm current HOPA status with the community manager before signing a lease.

Source-of-income and occupation

Many states and municipalities prohibit source-of-income discrimination (including refusal to accept Section 8 vouchers, HCV, BAH, or other housing subsidies). Community operators are responsible for complying with the laws of their jurisdiction. If you believe a community has refused a lawful source of income, consult your state\'s fair-housing agency.

Accessibility

We support disability access and reasonable-accommodation requests. If a listing\'s accessibility information is incomplete, please contact us and we will update it from verified sources or mark the field as not specified.

Reporting a concern

If you believe a listing or community on RV Annual violates fair housing laws, email us at hello@rvannual.com with a link to the listing and a description of the concern. You may also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov/fairhousing.
