For Energy, Oil and Gas Workers
Extended-stay RV parks near the Permian, Bakken, Eagle Ford, and other production regions exist specifically because conventional housing doesn't scale to boom cycles.
The good ones know this market: big rigs, 24-hour gates, laundry, and rates negotiated against per-diem allowances.
What to look for
- Big-rig pull-throughs with 50-amp service
- Heated water lines (Permian winters can hit freezing)
- Early-exit gates for pre-dawn shifts
- Proximity to field or yard
- Monthly billing that plays nicely with per-diem
Practical tips
- ·Negotiate a project rate if you're bringing a crew. Parks would rather fill 10 pads at a modest discount than hold them for single rentals.
- ·Verify electric billing. Per-metered can double your bill in summer AC season.
- ·Ask about bunkhouse or crew-quarters arrangements for workers without their own RVs.

A note on housing.
RV Annual welcomes all renters and households. Community pages describe lifestyles, occupations, and use cases.
