For Military and Veteran Households

PCS happens. Orders change. An RV community that understands military life offers month-to-month flexibility, a military-clause lease, and rates that work against BAH instead of above it.

The best ones cluster near major bases like Edwards, Camp Pendleton, Fort Bragg, Norfolk, JBER, and have been welcoming military households for decades.

What to look for

  • Month-to-month flexibility (for orders and deployments)
  • Military clause for lease termination without penalty
  • Proximity to base
  • Amenities suited to your household (pool, quiet hours, pet-friendly)
  • Rates that work with BAH

Practical tips

  • ·Ask for the military rate specifically. Many parks don't advertise it but honor it on request.
  • ·Confirm the military clause in writing. "Flexible" isn't the same as a termination right.
  • ·Research commute at actual duty-hour traffic times. Some base-adjacent parks have 20-minute morning commutes that become 90 minutes during shift change.

A note on housing.

RV Annual welcomes all renters and households. Community pages describe lifestyles, occupations, and use cases. Nothing here signals a preference or limitation based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability. Communities marked 55+ are self-designated by the operator under the Housing for Older Persons Act (HOPA) and are subject to that law. See our Fair Housing statement.
